About This Place

Nestled on 261 W Calaveras Blvd in Milpitas, K On the Go is a charming and distinctly Asian-forward cafe that invites coffee and tea lovers to embark on a flavorful journey beyond the ordinary. This intimate espresso bar and tea house brilliantly melds traditional Vietnamese influences with contemporary cafe culture, offering a menu that’s as imaginative as it is comforting.

At the heart of K On the Go’s appeal lies its signature Vietnamese Egg Whip Latte — a masterful French-pressed black coffee swirled with condensed milk, topped with a velvety puff cream and rich egg whip. Priced at $9.00, this drink has captivated regulars like Ayush Kalani, who praises its creamy texture and perfect balance of flavors, and Sriharsha A., who expertly customized it with oat milk and less sweetness to highlight the luscious, sweet egg topping over robust coffee. This is not just a beverage, but an experience of layered sensations: the silky foam melting into the bittersweet espresso hits that awaken and delight the palate.

For those craving a refreshing departure from the standard cafe fare, the café boasts an enticing bubble tea selection, including the silky Milk Tea with Puff Cream Boba and fruity Honeydew Milk Tea, as well as a lineup of caffeine-free delights like Taro EggLatte and Chocolate EggLatte. Their inventive Flan Coffee—iced and crowned with flan cake and coffee jelly—is another standout, celebrated by customers for its decadently creamy texture and playful concoction of flavors.

The food offerings complement the beverages beautifully, with highlights such as the hearty Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, flaky Croissant Sandwiches, and the delightfully airy Mini Pancake Puff with Egg Cream. Vegetarians won’t miss out either, with options like the fresh and flavorful Vegetarian Baguette Sandwich. Each dish pairs perfectly with the drink menu, creating a cohesive, satisfying meal experience whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or lingering for a leisurely brunch.

K On the Go’s atmosphere is an undeniable part of its allure. Although its seating is limited, the café’s carefully curated interior transforms the space into a warm, sophisticated haven. Adriana Perez remarked on the breathtaking decor that makes it a perfect spot to unwind or get work done, while Zoheb Mujahid appreciated the chic vibe that makes catching up with friends a pleasure. The calming environment, paired with the availability of coffee until 9 PM — a welcome exception in Milpitas — ensures guests can savor their time without feeling rushed.

For dessert lovers, the cheesecake assortment—ranging from Chocolate Pecan to White Chocolate Raspberry—provides a delightful sweet finale to the K On the Go experience. Also not to be missed are the luscious Chocolate Truffle Cheesecake and Tiramisu Cake, crafted to satisfy those with a penchant for rich, velvety desserts that elevate the café visit.

K On the Go is more than just a café; it’s a refined haven for adventurous coffee aficionados and tea devotees eager to explore bold Asian-inspired flavors in a cozy, elegant setting. Whether you’re stopping by for their legendary Egg Whip Latte, indulging in a delicate dessert, or settling in to soak up the inviting ambiance, this spot promises a memorable and distinctly delicious escape.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great customer service! The place was immediately breathtaking. I stopped by for a quick takeout, and while the breakfast was pretty mediocre the Egg whip late drink I was recommended was absolutely delicious . The vibe was stunning with beautiful decorations — I would’ve loved to stay longer and get some work done there.

Tried their egg whip vietnamese coffee latte and it was really good. Creamy, well balanced flavors and a generous amount of egg whip. It was also reasonably priced . Limited seating space but the interior is beaytiful and inviting.

It is one of those places where you can get coffee till 9 PM while most other coffee shops close by afternoon. While the cafe itself is quite small, the decor is quite striking. They have a tea and coffee menu, which is definitely more Asian forward. I got the vanilla ice coffee with coffee jelly, and the drink was absolutely fabulous. It was the right amount of coffee and sweetness. The jelly added a nice texture element. The cafe was pretty full, and there was a long queue of people waiting to be served. My only complaint would be that, although that decor is good, there are signs of wear and tear on the upholstered seats and few of them even have smudges and dirt marks on them, which made me little hesitant to sit on it. Something they should definitely work on.

Came by on a Saturday morning and this spot is amazing! They have tons of unique drink options. I went with the iced Vietnamese Egg Whip Latte, with less sweetness and substituted with oat milk. It was delicious. The creamy, sweet egg topping paired perfectly with the strong coffee underneath. Less sweetness was the right move since the topping already brings plenty of it. The vibe here is classy and relaxed, with lots of seating available even on a weekend morning. Perfect place to hang out or get some work done. Parking was easy, and while I took my drink to go, I’m definitely coming back to try their breakfast burritos and sandwiches next time.

K on the Go on Calaveras Blvd is a small but aesthetic café with a chic vibe. I’ve tried the mocha and the classic milk tea—both are good choices. The café has a decent amount of seating, making it a nice spot to relax or catch up with friends. Overall, an aesthetic little café with a relaxed atmosphere and tasty drinks. Quick Tip: Try the mocha or classic milk tea—both are solid picks

My sister came over to visit and she loves ube. I looked for an ube coffee spot and this is a place I found (turns out she had been here before). Parking was a bit difficult to find during lunch hour (12pm) on a weekday. This place is not from what it looks outside. Once you step inside, it is like stepping into another world. I love the decor and the lounge area. It is a nice place to go and hangout. I got the rose latte and I would rate it 4/5. I felt like the coffee could have been a bit stronger. My sister ordered an ube latte with puff cream and she said it was really good. I will definitely go back and order something else.

True to its name, K on the Go is designed for swift service, but it's far more than just a grab-and-go spot. The interior is a treat, boasting whimsical floral decor and elegant chandeliers that transform the small space into something truly special. It's perfectly sized for a cozy catch-up with one other person, but not really for groups. Dalgona Coffee (4.5/5): A nostalgic and flavorful sip. Mini Pancakes (4/5): Adorable, fluffy bites complemented by clotted cream. Be aware that some desserts can be a bit expensive.
